Anchor links on same page targeting Tab not working

Greetings, we have an odd issue for a site still in development.

We are using shortcode to make tabs on a page and everything works fine apart from when linking to a tab from the same page the tab exists on. I suspect it has something to do with JS and active tab switching. It is odd that if I force the page to reload and target that tab it works fine - but that is not a clean way to handle the need. We just want the user to click the link and have the tab switch to the correct content on the same page without page refresh.

I can provide links to the website and give access if you are able to look into supporting this odd issue. I noticed on other threads you made some updates to anchor link issues in a previous theme update. I tested with the parent update and saw no difference.

I have tried targeting the tab ID and the tab anchor and get no activity when clicking the link.

[tabs title="" type="" id="myTab"]

In our case we are targeting from the FAQ tab (see image) and there is a link in that content area at the bottom that needs to target and switch to the Access and Intake tab.

Clicking the link does nothing. No jump no activity response at all on multiple browsers also.

Please send us WordPress dashboard access privately thru the contact form which is on the right side at http://themeforest.net/user/muffingroup#contact and we will check what might be the reason.

Sorry, we misunderstood you - the anchor links does not work on the tabs on same page, I mean - you will not be able to open them, on the same page - you can only open them between pages, it's also noted below the field to fill ID in the Muffin Builder

If you just want to scroll to the section where the Tabs are, asign the ID in the section settings and simply scroll to the section :)

    thanks

  • Thank you for the response. I will talk to a JS dev and see if there is a better workaround.
