Hi,
I use taxonomy for my media attachents (photos).
I have a question - where/how can I modify the search results page (it is used by default to display items belonging to a given taxonomy)?
Currently betheme / Blog / layout settings are used, but the generated result list does not display thumbnails (only the featured images from the post are supported). I checked on the standard wordpress template - thumbnails are displayed for taxonomy results.

If you would like to modify the search result, then you will have to modify the theme files, but we do not provide support with that.
You can also try to use some third party plugin, but we cannot recommend any plugins other than the ones we support. You can find the list on this page, in the sidebar:

Do you plan to improve the display of attachment images (media) or expand the configuration options of the search results page / taxonomy review?
For now we do not have plans to expand it, but if you would like to see it in future updates, please, let us know in the following topic.
