How to close drop down menu when touching outside on mobile and tablet?

- Is there a way to close the drop down menu on mobile and tablet by clicking outside of the menu?
- How do I make the drop down menu appear on mobile by clicking on the menu title instead of just the + sign?

1) Unfortunately, there is no option to achieve that.
But if you would like to see this feature in future updates, please, let us know on the following topic:

2) You can make the whole field clickable with this CSS:
#Side_slide #menu ul li.submenu .menu-toggle::after { position: absolute !important; right: 10px !important; } #Side_slide #menu ul li.submenu .menu-toggle { width:100% !important; }Place it in Betheme -> Theme options -> Custom CSS & JS -> CSS.

I placed the CSS as mentioned above. It does not make the menu title clickable.
The attached image shows how I have defined my menus custom link.
However, I noticed that on clicking the menu item it scrolls up. How do I prevent this?
