Help needed for photo box.

I have a blue background and would like to remove the white frame as well as drop shadow for my photo box.

I have tried adding the css below:

.image_frame {

border-width: 0;

}

.image_frame .image_wrapper .mask {

-webkit-box-shadow: none;

box-shadow: none;

}

They managed to remove the white border and drop shadow but when hovering, I see an oversized "opacity mask"? over my image.

Is there a way to make it just cover my image and not the whole area?

Hi,

to remove mask and border around photo box items, please use below css:

.image_frame .image_wrapper .mask { display: none; }
.image_frame, .wp-caption { border: 0; }

I just tried pasting this on a page in the Custom CSS section, then hit Update, and the code disappears. Any suggestions?

I put the code in the site CSS and it got rid of the box around the photo, but I still have a gray caption box below the picture with my caption text in it. Can you tell me what I need to do to get rid of that? Thank you.

I went back and used the Image Box options to turn off borders.

.wp-caption-text { display: none; }

I want to keep the caption text, but don't want to get rid of the gray box surrounding it.

Sorry, we thought that you want to remove it completely. So to remove background only, please use the following css instead:

.wp-caption-text { background: none !important; }

Thank you. These commands don't work in the Custom CSS box at the bottom of the page, but do work when I put it in the Betheme Options box. What am I doing wrong? And thanks for all the help!

Probably you have errors under Custom CSS box under page options and that's why it does not work from this section.
