Question Regarding Licensing
I work for an organization which uses BeTheme for our website. The website was built before I joined the organization, and when I came aboard, no one knew who had downloaded and installed the theme, so we have no idea under whose Envato account the purchase was made, or when. We haven't been able to update the software in the entirety of my time here, and so are still running v20.04.
We are willing to pay for a new license, but my question is: Will I be able to install updates on our existing installation if we do so? Please advise, and thank you in advance!

If you do not know to which account the license keys belong, you should contact Envato support because they are the ones who manage them.
But back to your main question. If you purchase a new license and replace the old one, then there will be nothing changed (except the license), and you will be able to update the theme, plugins, etc. So there are no obstacles, and if you want to do that, you can go ahead.
