Seperate header for homepage and blog/blogposts

Hi

I am looking to create a header for my blog landing page and posts, which is different to the homepage header.

I have managed to do this for the blog page, but there are a few issues:

- the colour is not updating (site colours are currently set to 'Custom Skin')

- when i go into an individual post, the header changes back to the homepage header, when I want it to remain as the blog header.

How do i go about fixing this?

Hi,

how did you created different header for post pages? Did you used Layouts configurator feature to do this?

Yes, i created a new layout/header using the 'layouts' and selected this on the blog page. It shows on the blog landing page (although the correct colour isn't showing at the moment), but when i go to a post it changes back to the default homepage header.

For single posts, you must force sidebar under Theme options > Blog, Portfolio & Shop > Blog section.

Yes, i have forced sidebars for posts under those options and the layout ID is correct for posts.

You can see i now have the blog landing page sorted, but the posts are viewing differently…?!
