YouTube Background Video Playing Intermittently on Revolution Slider with BeTheme
Hello, I have a site which has - up until recently - successfully used a YouTube video as a background on a Revolution Slider slideshow.
Now, the video intermittently (more often than not) does not play, displaying only the fallback image.
After contacting ThemePunch support (as I have a paid-licence), they have identified that it is the theme causing an incompatibility. It loads correctly every time with the TwentyTwenty theme.
The video can be seen on a test page slider at https://bit.ly/3sbLEiS
There are no JS console errors and the demo page is even using the Revolution Slider blank template.
Thanks

Hey,
Please send us WordPress dashboard access privately thru the contact form, which is on the right side at http://themeforest.net/user/muffingroup#contact, and we will check what might be the reason.

Thanks, details have been sent.
Can you send your login credentials again, please?
I accidentally closed the link with them, and I could not log in to your dashboard.
Thanks
No problem, sent again now.
We could not reproduce this issue. We tested it on our environment, and the slider works every time.
You can check it on the following link where we exported your slider.

Please, install a fresh copy of Betheme, and check if the issue persists. But before doing that, you can do a backup of your website with the Duplicator plugin for safety.

Thanks
I, too, see it load every time on your setup.
Can you confirm that it loads intermittently on the website in question for you?
A fresh install of the BeTheme theme hasn't fixed it.
Could you perhaps try with the theme settings below?

The slider is as a background to the header, if that makes any difference?
It seems that your Google Analytics script is the source of your issue.
I have copied your theme options to my environment, and the slider stopped working. However, when I removed the script, the slider started to work flawlessly every time.
Unfortunately, we cannot help you as it is not Betheme related issue. In that case, you should contact Google support.
Best regards
Thanks, I would never have thought that would have been the issue. I'll also go back to Themepunch and ask them to try with a GTM GA code included for their tests.
I'm also having this exact problem. Could you take a look?
Themepunch are looking to resolve it in a Rev Slider update.
For now, adding this code before the GA code does the trick.

Hello @coreyphall,
Did the line that chrismcb6 has sent you helped?
Best regards
