Sidebar background color

I would like to use a sidebar but I do NOT want it to look like it is a sidebar.

I was able to disable the border but no setting seems to be able to make the background #ffffff (instead of what looks like #fcfcfc).

What CSS selector would change the background for sidebar?

All pages except the home page (no sidebar). It is really subtle.

Ok, now it works. So to remove background image from sidebar, please use below css:

.widget-area::before { display: none; }
