Site breaks - critical error - when I update Betheme

Please help. My website breaks and gives a critical error when I try and update Betheme to the latest version.

Can you describe your issue in more detail, please?

Please, attach a screenshot of your error message.

You can also check if the update passes when you deactivate all of your plugins.

Thanks so much for your reply.

I'm going to try the deactivating of the plugins tomorrow - should have thought of that - i'll let you know if that works. Otherwise i'll come back to you with further details.
