Can't Activate Revolution Slider

Hi there!

I recently purchased Be theme for the first time and I just tried to install the theme. Everything run smoothly in the installation, but when I tried to activate Revolution Slider gave me the following error message:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION in /home1/ab97924/public_html/w/wp-content/plugins/revslider/inc_php/revslider_slider.class.php on line 851

Of course is not activated. Any help on that?

Hey,

yes, we know what happen. You have revolution slider version which is not compatible with your "VERY OLD" php version on server. If you want to use rev slider with current php version, you must replace recent slider version with the newest one which is included into theme package.

Based on what you write, I understand that I have to replace the revolution slider and install the current version that is included in the theme folder. I did that as you describe here:

but nothing changed really.

What am I missing here?

I'm having the same error code occur, and I would also very much appreciate a little more light shed on the subject. Can you provide a step by step process for fixing this?

What slider versions you got guys? We need screenshot of which versions you use because you probably did something wrong and you have still old versions.

@NikosTzibonis Recent version included into theme is 4.6.93 so please update slider to this version.

Hi,

I just download be theme from Themeforest. When I activate Revslider from left bar in admin menu, I get this error: The page cannot be displayed because an internal server error has occurred.

I checked my revslider version is Version 4.6.92 (which one is automatically installed) I'm trying to update with inside of be theme zipped package by manually betheme package already has same (4.6.92) version.

@cryptooth Internal Server Error is always related with server only. So in this case you must contact with server administrator. But before doing this, please try to install recent 4.6.93 version which is included into theme package.
