Interoperability WooCommerce, Elementor Pro: up-sell and cross-sell widgets show text instead of car

Hi Support Team,

unfortunately up-sell and cross-sell widgets show text instead of cart-button on hoover.

Elementor support investigated this:

Hello Theo,

Thank you for contacting Elementor Customer Experience Support. My name is Aleksandar, and I will be assisting you today.

I've inspected your site and I see that you are using Product content from your theme (Be theme). It seems that Be theme has a conflict with Elementor, and since this goes out of our support scope, I can only suggest you contact your theme support so they can make the theme fully compatible with Elementor and Elementor Pro.

To get a little closer to your issue, on hover, you are seeing SVG code displayed instead of Icons. I hope this will be helpful when you ask theme support for help.

Elementor has its own widgets: https://prnt.sc/26j6c28

I will go ahead and close this ticket for now, but you can always reopen it by replying to this email if you have any further questions regarding this issue.

If you run into any other issues, don't hesitate to open a new ticket.

Our support team will be more than happy to help.

Wish you a wonderful day and stay safe!

  • I noticed that you do not have the newest version of WooCommerce.

    Can you update it, please?

Moreover, please, turn off all of the plugins except Elementor and basic WooCommerce, refresh your cache, and check if the problem persists.

You can also upload a fresh copy of Betheme.

If none of these will help, please, let me know.

    Thanks

  • Hi,

the problem persists. The standard Product widget is working well. Upsell and cross sell widget have the problem.

I could solve the problem when i replace the cross sell or upsell widget with standard product widget. But than i need a way to query the upsell products and the cross sell products to insert as query object in the product widget.

It is not a solution to edit every product and manually insert the cross and upsells.

  • We did not have the newest version of Elementor PRO, which is why we could not reproduce this issue in our environment. After the update, the same thing happened on our side.

I have passed this information to the dev team, and we will investigate the root cause.

For now, I can only suggest changing the Image frame style to zoom or disable.

    Thanks

  • We already checked this workaround but it influences all parts of the website. The webstore is not yet online and we are adding products all the time.

The standard product widget is working without any issue. If this will be fixed in a few weeks, it's ok for now.

    Best Regards

    Theo

  • It should be resolved in a few weeks. ?

    Thanks
