Yes, but this is the only available way to do that now.
You can try to add the CSS Class (field is visible on the screenshot I sent in previous reply) and create CSS code which will reduce the padding for that element only, so it can look like different than other menu items.

Please, go to Betheme -> Theme options -> Menu & Action Bar -> Action Bar, and check the option Show above the header.
After that go to Theme options -> Social, and add there links to your social media.

We do not have this kind of menu feature yet, but you can do it, just by adding it as next menu item in Appearance -> Menus.
