Problem with favicon in the Google SERP
HI, I have a problem with the favicon in the Google SERP. If I enter the site I see the correct icon while in the Google SERP I see that of Joomla which is not even the platform I use since the site is in Wordpress. I contacted Google who told me that the problem is with the theme that incorrectly communicates to Google the presence of the favicon. Can you help me?

Hi,
Did you set your favicon through the Theme options?
If not, please, go to Betheme -> Theme options -> Global -> General, and set it there.
If you already set it there, please, use the following website to regenerate it:
https://realfavicongenerator.net/
When you do that, name it in a different way than your current favicon (for example favicon-new.ico), and reupload it there.
Thanks
Yes
Did you reupload this favicon with a different name?
Please, also check the following article:

Best regards
what name can i use?
The size of ico is 48x48 ,measures recommended by the Google lines
You can use whatever name you want, it should only differ from the previous one.
Please note that this change can sometimes be visible after a couple of days.
Thanks
