Custom templates for specific categories

Hi, I purchased Betheme but maybe it was not the right thing to do.

I'm concerned there is no way to create custom template pages, or to change the predifined ones.

I'd like to have

a general blog page with all the news, no matter the category ("1", "2", "3" or "4")
a portfolio page with all the posts of the category '1', divided in sub categories (a, b, c, and d) I can sort
three archive pages for the categories "2", "3" and "4"
two different post templates, one for posts of category "1" and the other for posts of category "2", "3" and "4"

Unfortunatelly what goes in the portfolio page is not a post.

And, more than that, I can't find a way to change the datails in the templates.

Did I go wrong buying Betheme? I like the idea of having prebuild blocks and grafic assistance, but I want more control over what to display...

I'm probably going to return my purchase, if I find the way to do it

Hello,

1) Please check the following video tutorial showing how to set the main blog page.

2) You can use the Portfolio element and select to display a particular category.

3) We do not have an option to customize archive pages for categories; they take their styles from the theme options.

4) I quite do not understand what templates you mean. Can you explain in more detail how they should work, please?

We have templates that you can put on the post/pages/portfolio with the BeBuilder.
