Receiving critical error after we upgraded the theme
The theme was at version 11.1. I deleted the old theme and installed the latest version and am receiving this...
Hosting company is saying they are seeing this error in the logs.
"PHP Fatal error: Uncaught TypeError: Cannot access offset of type string on string in /www/wp-content/themes/betheme/style.php:136"
Thanks for your help.

Hi,
Can you tell me what version of PHP you have, please?
Also, did you have a child theme installed?
Best regards
Currently having similar issues as OP. This is what mine looks like when I try to login. Thankfully the front end of my site is working great still.

Hey Phil. I've sent you FTP and Wordpress credentials through the contact form as you requested.
hi im having something of a similar problem.
i'm on php 8.0.
im also going to send sftp login details for you via your contact form now.
Hi @marshay,
You have sent only the FTP access but did not attach the WP dashboard access.
Please, send it as well through the contact form. Remember to attach a link to this forum discussion.
Thanks
We have fixed that on your website.
Theme options were saved as strings, but they should be saved as table, and it caused this issue.
We have added a check for it, but we could not test it because your theme is not registered.
Please register it, and check if the theme options saving are working correctly.
Best regards
hi, my theme is registered or am i doing it wrong... i got purchase code and date, etc from https://themeforest.net/
Please, head to this topic: https://forum.muffingroup.com/betheme/discussion/36219/cannot-register-deregister-your-license-key-use-this-tool#latest
There you will find instructions and a link to our license tool.
Deregister your license key if it is assigned to any domain, and register it on your website through Betheme -> Dashboard.
Thanks
