CMS content edit field is different between admin user and newly added user

Hi support,

As the title stated above, I would like to check with you on my website https://library.sim.edu.sg/ home page E-Services section which is showing the issue.

You can have a look at the screenshots:

Admin user: https://paste.pics/20277067a9ad4a58d9d5e16ad176f4a3

Newly added user: https://paste.pics/800eb7ac8e0798eef61bf146f4f6512b

We have checked with different browsers and flushed the cache, however, the issue still persists. Any idea and solution to this?

Thanks for your help 😃

  • Hello,

Please, turn off all of the plugins, refresh your cache, and check if the problem persists.

Moreover, if you use a child theme, switch to parent, and recheck it.

    Thanks

  • Hi support,

I have tried the methods above, unfortunately it was unable to resolve them. Do you have any specific way to look into this?

    Thanks for your help.

  • Please send us WordPress dashboard access privately thru the contact form, which is on the right side at http://themeforest.net/user/muffingroup#contact and we will check what might be the reason.

    Notice!

Please attach a link to this forum discussion.

    Thanks

  • Hi Support,

Okay sure, I will send the access to you shortly. May I know what link should I attach to the forum discussion? I have attached the website link in the first question.

    Thank you.

  • The link to the forum discussion where we are currently talking, so the person who manages the mailbox will know what these credentials are for. But I received your message, so I can see you handled it.

I could not log in with the admin credentials you sent, but I could log in with the second user.

The root cause is the TinyMCE editor, which parses HTML code. When building columns with more advanced HTML and CSS (like yours), I suggest using CodeMirror. It can be selected in the Builder settings.

    Thanks

  • Hi Support,

I can see the correct CSS after I enable the CodeMirror for the newly user I shared with you. Actually, I also created few users but those are unable to fix by enabling the CodeMirror. May I know what step we need to take to achieve the result?

    Thank you.

  • The switch between Code and Visual is global, and when I logged into your dashboard, I noticed that it was switched back to Visual.

I changed it again to Code, created a new user (Betheme test), and when I opened the home page, your Code was displayed correctly.

Did you change it back to Visual? If yes, please, keep it as Code.

    Thanks

  • Hi Support,

Yes, I switched to the Code and saw the missing liner in the field, earlier it didn't show that perhaps something is not stable. I can see it works now!

    Thanks a lot!

  • Glad I could help.

If you have any other questions or problems feel free to ask.

    Best regards
