502 Bad Gateway

Hello,

when I log into my WordPress admin space, I can't access the admin menu. The message "502 Bad Gateway. nginx." appears.

The website works fine, but I can't make any changes in the WordPress area. I have already disabled all plugins via FTP, but the problem persists.

How can I solve this?

When I deactivate the betheme via FTP, my WordPress area opens again. I think the error must be therefore in the Betheme.

My Apache Server works also completely fine.

  • Hello,

It looks like the problem is with the latest WP version (6.1) and older BeTheme version.

To fix that, you have to get into the FTP, remove old directory of BeTheme and upload the latest one from the themeforest, after that you will get your wp-admin work correctly.

    thanks

  • Thanks for the quick reply! That was the solution, now it works again. Great support!
