Desktop sticky and Tablet sticky affect each other
Hello,
I am editing the header template, there are 3 different views. Desktop - Tablet - Phone.
I'm trying to create separate header sticky behaviors in these 3 separate views.
In the desktop version
When the user goes down, only the categories will go down with him.
In the tablet version, only the upper part (logo) will go down with it.
In the mobile version, the top part (logo) will go down with it.
But the problem is, when I add the top part (part with logo) in the Tablet sticky section, this is reflected in the sticky behavior of the desktop version, and both the categories and the top part (with the logo) go down when going down on the desktop.
So the two are not separate from each other.
What can I do?
A short video describing my situation.
// Update 2 :
The latest header template never worked. I completely turned off the sticky behavior for header because it doesn't work properly.
I did header - fixed instead. But the only problem is in the part with the logo on the desktop that goes down. This was bad for me :S
Comments
Hi,
Create two sections, and hide one for Desktop view and the second for tablet view.
Best regards
I did what you said and while publishing both headers, the entire site was selected in the conditions section to be live. After doing this, the header was completely disabled, disabling the tablet form template fixed it. I guess they conflict and it gets disabled
Sorry, but I quite do not understand.
Did you handle it?
Is there anything else I can help you with?
Best regards
No, it has not been fixed. There is no tablet version on the site at the moment. Because when I put the header template for the tablet, the headers on the site are disabled. In other words, when 2 headers work at the same time, it breaks down. I made the responsive settings you said.
Sorry, I misunderstood, now I've corrected my mistake. It now works flawlessly. Instead of creating 2 sections, I created 2 templates and things got confused :D
Good to see that you handled it. ?
Is there anything else I can help you with?
