Bug in BeBuilder

Hello,

When I save "Update" in the BeBuilder, the whole page gets destroyed. Even if I try to roll back the page with another revision, it's inrepairable. I've managed to recreate the issue on several pages that has nothing to do with each other. It's easy to recreate, simply go to a page and hit Update. The browser is Firefox. I've tried to deactivate all plugins with no luck. I've recorded a film where it's easy to see the issue.

The server is LiteSpeed with PHP8.1. WP is version 6.1.1. BeTheme is version 26.7.2.1.

  • Sorry, my bad. I pasted the wrong URL. I've sent the correct one now.

  • The page from your video has HTML tags placed incorrectly.

You need to review the elements where you placed HTML tags and correct them.

    Best regards

  • Hello! Okey. Thank you. The page is inherited from another developer so I find it hard to figure out the way it's supposed to work. But, when I clean up the HTML in that column, the image block besides it dissapears. Maybee I should just redo the whole page. It seems broken.

Redoing this page could be a good idea. These tags cause many HTML errors, and fixing them might take longer than recreating this page.

Moreover, you can use elements and options that were not available before, like the Heading element, with which you will not have to worry about placing Headings tags in the Column Text element.

    Best regards

  • Unfortunately, the bug is continuing. I've come a bit further in the investigation but the overall issue is exactly the same. I tried to do the exact same thing on the same site on two servers, and only one of them has the bug. I'm attaching three files: two HTML files where you can see how BeTheme is saving the corrupt page, and a summary of the server environments. Unfortunately, they are in Swedish, but I guess it's quite easy to understand. The headers "Gamla Servern / Old server" and "Nya servern / New server" indicate the old and new servers before and after migrating the page. What stands out is that the new server has an older version of the database client. Could that be an issue? Are there any PHP packages that are crucial?

  • I can see that this website differs from what you sent credentials to.

Can you attach a link to this page, please?

    Thanks

  • Of cource, the link is https://oss.se. It's the same organization behind both websites.

  • Is it currently on the server where this problem appears or on the other one?

Can you send dashboard access to the version where this issue occurs, please?

    Thanks

  • Yes! Is it safe to share it right here in the forum?

Right now, I'm trying to find a way to recreate the issue again. The thing is that when content where dynamically generated through JS with wp-json, the content broke and then I removed the component that did that, it worked again. The generated content is a simple div with an img så the content itself should not be the issue.

  • Please send it privately thru the contact form, which is on the right side at http://themeforest.net/user/muffingroup#contact, and we will check that.
