Add comments to be posted on blog

I see how you can activate comments on pages, which works but it doesn't work on posts. Is there something else to be done to do this?

Hi,
comments for posts are activated by default so you don't need to activate anything. But if you want, some options for posts comments you can find under Settings > Discussion section.

I says "Comments are closed" on all the post pages still.
