make product category description visible

Hi all,

is it possible to add the product category description to the page, were I list all my products? I cant find an element like "product description" in the bethemen builder during editing the Shop archive @templates.

Is there another way to make my description visible?

Hi,

You can edit your categories and place your description there.

If you use custom templates, you can create templates for each category and place descriptions wherever you want.

Hi Phil,

I already filled the "description" area with text. Is there any tutorial for creating a template for each category?

I only know how to create one template for the entire shop landing page & single product page.

For categories, you create templates for all shops, but in the conditions set category you want to assign the template to.
