Trying to remove a color

Hello Team,

Sorry I am not able to find how to remove a color. Here's what I have done.

I have selected your orange color. I use the minimalist so there's no spacing/color/image under the top menu.

When I resize the browser to be mobile, I see  Purple color under the menu -> http://postimg.org/image/jpcr86qoj/

I cannot find how to get rid of that area - Can you please help me out.
