Problem with the menu header, I see a + and a - symbols

I have been seeign this strange header of my website.
Even if it looks like this in the editor of elementor:
I don't know the reason by I see this + and - symbols. Anything familiar to you?
the meny without the sub menu:
If I create a sub menu then I see the + and - symbols.
What are they?
My theme is twenty twenty one.

BTW Twenty Twenty One theme is WP default theme, not ours.
