All pages have crazy paddings after migration

Hi,

We migrated over to a new VPS and while everything was fine initially, suddenly the site started to appear like this and we have no idea why. We disabled all caches and cleared all caches, have you encountered it before and perhaps have any idea what could be causing it? It even shows so when I open the BeEditor. There it shows no paddings, the settings are taken over correct from old server. However, when Inspecting the site, it shows paddings like 4500 px etc.

  • Hi,

Please go to Betheme -> Tools, use an option to regenerate the CSS, and check if the problem persists.

  • Hi,

Nop, didn't help. It feels like a cache issue and therefore I did another migration to second dev site. This time I disabled and got rid of all cache plugins in the old server before doing the migration. The second dev site looks good again, I'm just a bit afraid it could happen again and there's currently no idea what's the reason.

If you have any other ideas to try, I'd appreciate so I can check on the first dev site what else it could be.

  • If it is correct without a caching plugin, you should contact the cache plugin author.

Also, I do not know how you migrated your website, but I highly recommend using the Duplicator plugin as we never had problems with it.

  • Got it. Well, the second migration is so far working nicely so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it will not show up again.
