Fira Sans semi-bold

Hi Team,

on my website I use the font "Fira Sans". But I instead of "bold" I want the font shown in "semi-bold".

No matter what I do, the fonts stays in "bold". When I change the typografie settings to weight "600" it looks the same like "bold".

And can I also somehow make every text that's already set to "bold" across the whole website to "semi-bold" without editing every single text? In the BeTheme options menu theres unfortunately only settings for headings, content and so on, but not for bold texts.

Thank you!

  • Hi,

Did you choose the Weight & Style you need in Betheme -> Theme options -> Fonts -> Family?

If you choose your fonts in theme options, then they will be globally assigned. If you fonts manually to each element then you will have to change it manually again.

    Best regards

  • Hello,

yes sure I checked the needed font weights & styles. But it makes no difference.

To your second screenshot: I'm totally aware of this. But as I wrote many times...I would need the globallly assignment for my "bold" texts and only for the "bold" texts.

I'm really thankful for your support and replies, but I have to say, that I have the feeling, often you don't read exactly what I already wrote clearly. That costs me so much time, to wait for your next reply again.

    Best regards,

  • 1) Please attach a link to your website so we can check it out. If the page is offline(localhost), then our help will be limited. You will have to contact us when the page is online. Also, please make sure that the page is not under maintenance before you provide us with the link.

It is always a good idea to also attach a screenshot showing your issue.

    2) Sorry that you felt that way, but I found it a bit unclear, so I went with what I thought.

Anyway, there are no other settings for controlling texts in bold globally.

    Thanks

  • I works now..just forgot to generate new under the "tools" menu :)

    Sorry!
