Thumbnail and images resize issue

Hello again,
I am working on setting all the images for my shop but I keep having issues with their size.
You can see the problem here:
the shop page:  https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/37084641/temp/shop.jpg
A single product page: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/37084641/temp/singleProduct.jpg

As you can see, the default layout has this frame around the images and thumbs, but it is not the size of the thumbs themselves.
I had ran the regenerate thumbnails twice, got a success message but nothing changes in my pages.

Also, in the shop page you can see the top three images that are from your demo page, but for some unknown reason they have been resized to look smaller. On your page each of them is 500px but on my page something is making them display at only 55% of their size.

What am I missing? where can I control their size?

Thank you so much!

  • It looks like you did not setup right sizes for woocommerce thumbs. Please take a look into right topic http://forum.muffingroup.com/betheme/discussion/144/what-the-right-size-for-shop-images-is where this was already described.
  • I actually read that thread before but I didn't think this was the same problem.
Although by your answer there it looks like I will need to re-upload my images again.
    I will try that!
    Thank you!
  • Hi again,

I am sorry to say that I still cannot figure that thumbnail issue that I have :-(
I tried using the theme's default woocommerce images size (500x500; 500x500; 200x200) with and without the hard crop marked.
I tried to use what looked like the size in your pages (500x250) and nothing.
I tried regenerating thumbnails again, I tried re-uploading my pictures again, I tried creating a text product with completely new images. Nothing works.
My images look square, but their frame is rectangle (as you can see in my original post's image attachments.

Please help me figure this out?
  • ok I figured out what happened!!! =D =D
    And it was my fault.....
I changed the class img.scale-with-grid that affects the logo, without realizing it also affects the shop's images...
    My bad...

Anyway thanks, and thanks again for this most awesome, amazing theme ever made!
  • Thanks for the info! We're glad you found your issue :)
