Slider showing slides from previous betheme templates.
I cannot seem to get rid of the slides from a previous template I tried out from the list.
The slides do not exist in the custom sliders Layers. There is only one slider as an option to use.

Maintenance Mode Has Been Disabled
In the Slider Revolution settings check if you have Rendering Engine set to SR7.
If so, change it to SR6, and see if your changes are visible then.

The problem isn’t that changes aren’t showing when we make them. The problem is there are sliders from previous templates. We tested showing on the main page however, when attempting to remove, delete or alter those slides that we did not add, they don’t exist on the backend there is no slider layer. There is no object there is no database entry. They don’t exist yet, They still show.
There are two sliders that do not exist anywhere in our system however, they are still displaying on our main slider. We need to remove them and we cannot remove them because they don’t exist.
I don't see in your message if you tried my suggestion of changing the rendering engine. Have you tried that?
