Elementor editor: content is overlapped behind the Header

Hi,

I use the template BeRecipes3 with Elementor that has the Creative Header and at first the content on the entire website was showing behind the Header. Luckily the fix was easy by changing in Theme options -> Addons & Plugins -> Elementor -> Container content width. This bug was already here 2 years ago, and you still didn't put a fix... it says a lot.

The problem is that when using the Elementor Editor for Posts, the bug is still there. The Content is showing behind the Header, and many things are not visible, some things can not be done correctly. Please provide a fix.

And considering this bug is terribly old would be nice if you applied a permanent fix so when I reinstall the template again I don't have to go through the process of wasting hours on this. Maybe you spend your day in this forum, but I don't, so it is very frustrating to have to come here.

Thank you.

  • Hi,

Please always attach a link to your website so we can check it out. If the page is offline(localhost), then our help will be limited. You will have to contact us when the page is online. Also, please make sure that the page is not under maintenance before you provide us with the link.

It is always a good idea to attach a screenshot showing your issue.

Anyway, this "bug" is caused by Elementor. Since they changed the default way of creating sections to containers, we had to adjust the theme to display correctly with them. Many pre-built websites and our customers' websites are still made with an old method, so we added the option you mentioned to the theme options. We have done everything on our side to ensure that older websites and newer ones with containers display our theme correctly. If you do not like it, we encourage you to try out BeBuilder instead. Thousands of our customers have switched from Elementor to BeBuilder, as it is faster, more customizable, and more stable than Elementor.

  • Such a disappointing answer!

What do you need a screenshot for if you already know the problem? The page goes under the Creative Header when editing a Post. It happens on the backend, and I won't give you access to the backend.

You just need to setup yourself a installation with the template BeRecipes3 with Elementor. It will take you 2 minutes. Then go to Posts that you have created with Elementor, and edit one of them.

I can't switch to BeBuilder because you have answered me to 4 different issues that BeBuilder can't do that. So a good support would at least make sure to provide a solution.

  • i have the same problem

  • I did not ask for your access to the dashboard, but only a link to your website. Sending it right away speeds up the support process. Also, please be aware that setting up a new testing environment with this demo does not take 2 minutes.

New posts go under the header because of the Elementor. New posts are created with containers that do not work with the option from the theme options, and containers must be set to default.

You must either convert existing sections to containers: https://elementor.com/help/convert-existing-sections-to-containers/ or copy existing ones. When you convert sections to containers, remember to change back the option in theme options.

I can't switch to BeBuilder because you have answered me to 4 different issues that BeBuilder can't do that. So a good support would at least make sure to provide a solution.

Sorry, but I have no idea what you refer to. You have only one discussion created and only one comment:
