Cannot remove the short code [] boxes otherwise i have a home page bar appear

I have removed the slider from the plugin's and changed the settings below

If i remove the [] from the slider shortcode i have a home bar appear - see below

If i leave the shortcode [] they appear on the live site - on the far left hand side

any help on how i can remove the shortcode [] and not have the Home bar appear

Hi,

first of all, [] have to be removed. If there is anything in this field, it would appear what's the most accurate behave.

If you don't want to display Subheader, simply go Page Settings and disable subheader.
