BeTheme Modifications Not Reflecting and Causing Automatic Changes to Other Elements

edited October 28 in BeBuilder

Dear BeTheme Support Team,

I am writing to express serious concerns about persistent issues with BeTheme that are impacting our project timelines and overall workflow. Despite making precise adjustments through the theme’s modification settings, the changes are not consistently updating. Furthermore, certain modifications are unexpectedly altering unrelated elements, leading to a disjointed design.

To summarize:

  1. Modifications Failing to Reflect Correctly: Changes do not appear accurately, even after multiple cache clearings and troubleshooting steps.
  2. Unintended Impact on Other Elements: Adjustments frequently affect unrelated areas, which has caused significant layout disruptions.

These issues are hampering our ability to deliver a functional, professional website to our clients. Immediate support and a solution are necessary to prevent further delays. I urge your team to prioritize this and provide a resolution as soon as possible.

Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.

Sincerely,

Muhammad Adnan

  • Hello,

Please describe your issues in more detail.

    1) Are the modifications visible only in the builder, or do they disappear from there as well after refreshing the builder?

Are you using BeBuilder, Elementor, or other builder?

Do the modifications appear after some time?

Did you ensure that you cleared all cache? You might have caching pluing, cache on the server, use some cache service like Cloudflare, or it might be the browser cache.

    2) Please explain what modifications you are making and how they affect other things. Please attach screenshots showing these modifications.

Please also attach a link to your website.

    Thanks

  • Hi,

Thank you fro your prompt response sir.

    • The elements are visible in the builder, but not on the server. We believe there’s an issue with overwritten code, as elements are automatically receiving CSS from an unknown source.
    • We’re currently using BeBuilder.
    • Initially, the elements appear, but after some time, they stop working.
    • We cleared the cache on Hostinger and from the plugin adn browser as well, but this didn’t resolve the issue.
    • For example (but rather than this example when ever I change anything other elements changed) ; when we try to make the testimonial section responsive, it changes the input fields in our contact form, and other elements are affected similarly.

If you need further any access please let me know.

    Thank you

  • It all seems to be related to the cache active on your website.

I suggest disabling all cache you have active (plugin/server/Cloudflare/etc.) and check if these issues disappear. If it helps, keep the cache inactive until you finish working on your website (BTW, it is something we always suggest to do).

If this will not help, please be so kind as to record a video showing your issues to prevent any misunderstanding. Put this video on some video hosting service and send a link to it.

Along with video please send us the WordPress dashboard and FTP access privately through the contact form, which is on the right side at https://themeforest.net/user/muffingroup#contact and we will check what might be the reason.

    Notice!

Please attach a link to this forum discussion.

Sending incorrect or incomplete data will result in a longer response time.

Therefore, please ensure that the data you send are complete and correct.

  • Dear Phil,

Thank you for your response. I appreciate your help with these theme issues.

Here are two videos demonstrating the problems I'm facing:

    1. Theme options not working: https://youtu.be/3o9DV8ZXeDg
    2. Theme breaking: https://youtu.be/cWUw7pE_YDY

I’ve tried pausing the cache plugins, but this hasn’t resolved the issues. I have also shared access via the link you provided. Could you please look into these theme problems?

Thank you very much for your assistance.

    Best regards,

    Muhammad

  • 1) You have custom CSS that changes the font size, which is why the font size does not work as it should.

The first one is placed in Appearance -> Customize -> Additional CSS:

The rest are placed in your child theme CSS file:

    2) I could not replicate this issue, and your website loads correctly for me every time.

Anyway, please, turn off all of the plugins, refresh your cache, and check if the problem persists.

Moreover switch to parent theme, and recheck it.

    Thanks

  • Hello Phil,

I hope you're well. Thank you for your response.

I’m currently using the 'Smart Slider' plugin for the hero section on my website, as I’m unable to use the theme’s built-in hero section. Could you please help investigate why the theme’s hero section isn’t functioning as expected?

Additionally, I’ve noticed another issue. Whenever I make changes to any section, such as updating the services section, the mobile responsiveness is affected, and other sections seem to shift unexpectedly. Could you please look into these responsiveness and layout adjustments as well?

Thank you very much for your assistance!

    Best regards,

    Muhammad

  • Whenever I touch any section, other sections lost its spacing on all devices.

  • 1) Sorry, but we did not test this plugin with the theme. Our policy states that we do not support third-party plugins or custom code, so we cannot help you.

Also, we cannot recommend any plugins other than the ones we support. You can find the list on this page:

    https://support.muffingroup.com/documentation/bundled-plugins/#compatibility

    2) Can you attach screenshots showing your problems with sections, please?

    Thanks

  • My footer was like that an hour ago. I tried to make some changes in the alignment. Now it is looking like black and everything removed?

  • Regarding the responsiveness, I spent a week optimizing the site for mobile devices. However, the responsiveness appears to have changed again automatically. I was in the process of fixing a few other issues when I noticed this. Please see the screenshots attached, which show how it looked previously and how it appears now on the same device. You can see the section below the hero section. I didnt even touch the font size layout etc.

  • Now footer section reverted. Sir my theme is mini heart attack for me. Whenever I touch something I do with fear.

  • The theme does not change anything by itself. Most probably, one of the plugins you are using is the root cause. I suggest disabling all of unsupported ones (especially the ones for cache), and check if these problems persists without them.

You can find a list of supported ones here:

    https://support.muffingroup.com/documentation/bundled-plugins/#compatibility

Moreover, keep the server cache until you finish working on your your website. When you finish performing changes, you can activate it again.

    Best regards
