I'm sorry, but we did not test or support the plugin you mentioned, so I cannot tell you about the differences.
What I can say is that our GDPR 2.0 was created to meet EU and Google guidelines, so Google Tag will work correctly with it.
I am not sure what you mean by advantage and disadvantage. The advantage is that you will have a GDPR popup that meets the guidelines and does not require the installation of external plugins. Disadvantage? I guess there is no, but I am not quite sure if this is what you asking for.
I think it's great that you integrated Consent Mode V2. Because the whole topic of the GDPR in the EU is so complicated, and there are what feels like 1,000,000 plugins for this. Some of them cost a lot of money and I basically wanted to know whether your version covers all legal aspects in the EU and I I can rely on your solution.
Not to give rise to such “warning lawyers” again.
Which GDPR plugin do you support? And if you support one, do you also bring all of these functions with you, or are there exceptions where you think it still makes sense to use another GDPR plugin.
We did not test any GDPR plugins with our theme, so we do not support them. It does not mean that you cannot use them. You can, but we do not guarantee that it will work and will not be able to help if any error occurs.
However, there is no need to use an external plugin because, as I mentioned in my previous message, our GDPR 2.0 meets all EU guidelines.

Hi,
We will release it next week in the form as presented on our website:

Hi, do you already have more information about this? Is there already adapted documentation?
And to ask the stupid question, what distinguishes your “Consent Mode V2” from a cookie plugin like Complianz?
What is the advantage and what is the disadvantage?
