Slider Revolution - error message when trying to install plug-in

Hi there,

just bought the theme and wanted to install the prepackaged revolution slider plugin, but am getting the following error message:

Downloading install package from \\\\WDP\\DFS\\45\\0\\0\\1\\4515043100\\user\\sites\\2684828.site\\www\\wordpress/wp-content/themes/betheme/plugins/revslider.zip…

Download failed. A valid URL was not provided.

Please assist!

Hi,

this looks like theme files are corrupted and you should update them via FTP only. But if this won't help, you should check logs on server because above messages does not say anything.

I just downloaded this version 2 days ago from themeforest though, not sure why it should be corrupted, but will check.

Hello,

I am also seeing this error message after manually uploading the theme via ftp because the WordPress install method never worked. Have recently re-downloaded theme and updated the plugin zip files, but continue to get "valid URL was not provided." Please help, thank you.

So please update WP to latest 4.3 version if you use latest theme version. Hope this will help you. Also please update rev slider version to latest 4.0.5.1 version.
