Async JS and CSS plugin settings breaks betheme's php driven css

This plugin attempts to remove render blocking js and css reported by tools such as Google's site speed insights however the plugin interferes with bethemes php driven css attributes such as colors and bg images.  The tool provides a way to exclude js and css files by entering their path or their registered handle but since most of these are inline css I don't know how to tell this tool how to exclude the php stuff.

When I inspect elements such as buttons what i see is "color: <php..." instead of "color: #f2f2f2;" etc.

Or even better, try running betheme and the bundled templates against Google's tool and optimize for us so this is one inconvenience we can avoid.  For example, some of the core images such as blockquotes and the bg lines etc can be further optimized but these will get overridden upon future updates.  Thx.
