After updated to Version 27.6.4, my website keeps getting critical error and white page
I recently updated my BeTheme to version 27.6.4 and right after the process is done, I kept getting critical error and white page. I tried deactivated all other plugin, and still getting the same issue. Would it be possible to rollback to previous version of BeTheme? How can I fix it? Thank you.

Me 2, same problem. Please share if you find out anything about this. I would realy like to get a download for the former version.
I posted a simulare post a few hours ago, and i cant seem to find out why this happend. I have almost tried anything.
I also did some test, after changed to another theme and deactivated Bethem, everything just went fine, so I guess is more likely to be the Betheme that's causing the problem. If there is a way to roll back to previous version, then we can test it and find out the true answer.
Hey,
Please send us the WordPress dashboard and FTP access privately through the contact form, which is on the right side at https://themeforest.net/user/muffingroup#contact and we will check what might be the reason.

I received a private message from one of you, but it was not signed, so I assume that it was from OP.
However, it does not contain a link to the WP dashboard.
Moreover, the message states that no PW is needed for FTP access, but it does not work:
Please send another message with complete and working credentials.
Thanks
Thanks, I received new credentials, and they work.
However, I do not see any critical error in your website despite you have Betheme up-to-date.
Are there any steps to reproduce this issue?
Best regards
Hi there,
It's still not working at all, my website is still showing critical error with white page again, and I have to keep refreshing the page for so many times before it's back to normal, and then after I randomly click on any links from my page, critical error showed up again. You may give it a try with my WP dashboard, it also shows critical error no matter what you do with it. I did a test before by deactivated Betheme, then everything went fine and nothing happened at all, so I belive the latest version of Betheme is causing the problem. Would it be possible to rollback to the previous version of Betheme? Because before I updated to the latest verison, everthing was just fine and nothing happened at all.
Thank you!
I manged to fix my page, and rol back to 27.6.3 and it works fine now. But i dont dare to update to 27.6.4 again, because i tried 3 times and all of them ended with crashing my site and shwoing the same error as you have. I Cant quite understand why this happends. I have tried to use diferent PHP versions from 8.0 , 8.1 and 8.2 but everyting worked fine before the update to .5 and after i rolled it back. So this would be a quick fix if it was posible to get the installation files for 27.6.3 or simular.
Thanks for sharing your experience.
Since previous verions of Betheme are not available to be loaded on the website, I probably have to wait for the technician to provide it.
I was searching wild to, and didn`t find anything. My biggest question is why not all experience this error, because i would belive this forum would overflow if they did. So I`m curious on why this happends and in what combination, because I`m realy afraid of updateing now.....
I see that you created a separate discussion, but you still have not sent WP dashboard and FTP access, as I asked there. With access, we can check what is happening and locate the root cause, which would speed up the process of providing an appropriate fix.
It is the first time we have seen such a weird server. We accessed your FTP access again to recheck that problem, but every time I enter or exit the catalog, the whole catalog structure changes. One time, we could access the WP catalog, but a few moments later, this catalog was not present.
Can you explain what is happening or how to properly navigate there, please? Without it we are not able to check this issue.
Thanks
@jennifertt1007,
I received another private message from you. Thanks, but I do not need it right now, as the WP dashboard works correctly. What is not working as expected is the FTP.
Please read my last message from this discussion and refer to the questions I asked.
Thanks!
Hi there,
Regarding how to access the WP catalog, after logon to the FTP, you will see a "home" folder, just keep clickinng on each folder under the "home" folder till you see the "opt" shows up under the same main directory. Then you shall be able to find the right directory and the correct path is as follows:
opt -->bitnami-->wordpress
I just did a test and I can access the folder without any problems, thank you.
When I access your FTP, I have this:
When I enter htdocs catalog, it contains only the index.php file, and when I go back the structure changes to this:
This is the first time I have seen such behavior.
Anyway, somehow, after wandering for a while, I finally managed to get to your WP catalog.
It looks like you have some shared server which dynamically assigns memory limit, and that is why it sometimes load and sometimes not.
Look at the error message below:
It indicates that your server memory limit is ~106MB.
Also, this value changed a couple of times when I refreshed the browser, which shows that it most likely is a shared server.
You must contact your hosting provider and ask them not to keep this limit lower than 512MB. If the hosting provider cannot do that for you, we can only recommend changing to another one.
Best regards
Hi there,
Thanks for information. I just checked again my PHP memory limit and WP Max limit, both 512m. Since it might take a while before I can get my hosting provider (GCP) to help out. Woudl it be possible for you to provide the previous verison of Betheme so that I can get my site back running first?
Thank you!
Sorry, but I do not have access to previous versions, so the only option would be to retrieve a backup if you made any.
Best regards
