To give a more detailed info, I have renamed the theme to Indermis as the project its named like that, as its shown in this 2 screenshots and that might collide with the child theme and betheme name?

  • Hi,

Thanks for reporting that the link does not work. I have corrected it.

But back to your question. First of all, I suggest creating a backup of your website with the Duplicator plugin. When it is done, you can proceed with the update process.

Go to ThemeForest and download the package of the newest version of Betheme from there. Then log in to your WP dashboard and install the Betheme package you have downloaded. When the installation process is done, check if your website looks and behaves correctly.

Let me know what else could be

  • Please, turn off all of the plugins, refresh your cache, and check if the problem persists.

If this will not help, please keep minifying plugins disabled, as I must check it with them inactive.

  • I have also cleaned cache and make the suggested changes on the BETHEME options and saved again (in a new incognito window) but i don't see any changes to avoid displaying that image in the background of the header/subheader section

    thanks for the remote help

  • Hi Phil, I have deleted from the custom css that line and a few old ones also, so no custom css at all now in this new version of the theme. Is there something else to try? Or any info to send you?

I do not see this anymore.

Did you handle this in the meantime?

    Best regards

  • Hi Phil,

I actually dont see it anymore. I was deleting the custom css files ... but this was before passing you the credentials...

  • It could be due to some cache active on your website.

Anyway, everything seems to be fine now, right?

Do you have any other questions?

    Best regards

  • Hi Phil, We deleted all cache through the server settings but might be due to something related as you point it out.

Im having trouble with the google maps display but seems to be due to API update...

    thanks a lot

  • I suggest taking a look at this article regarding the map:

    Have a great week too.

  • Hey Phil one more question, is it possible to edit this post, se the images and name of the website are not visible any more and just the info for future newcommers? or what would you suggest?

    All best

    /v

  • I am sorry but I quite do not understand.

Explain this in more details, please.

    Thanks

  • Hi phil sorry if i was not clear, there is some sensitive info in this post about the website name, domain etc from this company, and I would like to know if the pictures and name of the company can be deleted. As the post itself could be beneficial to other users of the theme, or if you think delete the whole post.

    thanks in advance

  • Yea sure. It is done.

    Best regards

  • Great thanks a lot!!!
