Bebuilder content not appearing on portfolio items

As mentioned in the topic, content created with bebuilder doesn't appear on portfolio elements. Is there anything I should check?

In other parts of the site, such as pages, the builder works perfectly. I've updated Betheme to the latest version.

  • Hi,

Please always attach a link to your website so we can check it out. If the page is offline(localhost), then our help will be limited. You will have to contact us when the page is online. Also, please make sure that the page is not under maintenance before you provide us with the link.

It is always a good idea to also attach a screenshot showing your issue.

    Thanks

  • Hi, I'm afraid a link won't help. For example, this is an existing portfolio (made with Gutenberg), but if I add items using Betheme, they don't display. https://shorturl.at/ih09t

The same thing happens if I create a new portfolio and only add items using Betheme. BeBuilder opens correctly, I insert the contents and the page is saved, but in the frontend I do not see what I added with BeBuilder

The portfolio structure was already present before the site redesign and installation of BeTheme. Could this be the cause?

  • It looks like you have a portfolio template. Please edit it and ensure that the Post Content element Source is set to BeBuilder:

    Best regards

  • However, I'd like the post content to continue to be taken from the WordPress editor. However, I'd like to add other elements to the page BEFORE the content provided in the template, but it won't let me display them. Is this possible?

  • Sorry, but I do not understand.

Please explain that in more detail.

    Thanks

  • I have a template for individual portfolio items. The template is very simple: there's the content (all my old portfolio items are made with Gutenberg) and at the bottom of the page there's an additional button (that links to an archive) and a sidebar with some extra information. Everything works as it should.

Regarding the new portfolio items, I'd like to use the same template (I'd like to always use Gutenberg for the main content), but add additional elements (before all the other elements) only in some cases, using the bebuilder. Is this possible?

  • In the portfolio template, you can use two Post Content elements where one source is set to BeBuilder while the other is set to Default.

    Best regards

  • Thanks, solved!
