Update - 28.1.9 problem

Hello,

I am trying to resolve the issue with error 400 from admin-ajax.php, and I have also noticed that I cannot update the theme to the latest version.

  • Hey,

This message could mean that your license key is used on multiple domains. Please use the license manager to handle your license keys: http://forum.muffingroup.com/betheme/discussion/36219/cannot-register-deregister-your-license-key-use-this-tool#latest.

If you see (on our license manager) that your license key is registered on a single domain or it is not registered anywhere, then please disable all of the plugins and deregister that license key (through the BeTheme -> Dashboard).

After that, get into the license manager once more. If the license key is still claimed, deregister it. If it’s not, register it again on your domain (through the BeTheme -> Dashboard) and try to update your theme a couple of times (usually, it passes after 2-3 attempts) - remember, all of the plugins have to be disabled.

    Thanks

  • Hi,

I tried doing what you wrote, but unfortunately it didn't help, and I noticed that even updating the plugins or to a newer version of WordPress doesn't work.

  • Hey,

Please send us your license key, the WordPress dashboard and FTP access privately through the contact form, which is on the right side at https://themeforest.net/user/muffingroup#contact and we will check what might be the reason.

    Notice!

    Thanks

  • You did not attach a link to your website anywhere.

Can you send it here, please?

    Thanks

  • Here is the problem. A domain name is required to make it work properly, and with IP address this will not work.

You must have a domain name.

    Best regards

  • It was working fine over IP before, and then suddenly it stopped? I can't even save any changes on the subpages.

  • It might be unrelated. What I described earlier refers directly to the theme update.

What is happening when you try to save changes in the pages? Are you sure that saving worked correctly before?

    Best regards

  • In a while, a subdomain will be created to replace the IP address - dev.euro-profil.com.pl.

When it comes to saving, error 400 suddenly pops up for no reason, and I haven't changed anything in the configuration except for increasing the max_filesize limits, etc.

I would just like to mention that I am not a programmer and am learning how to create websites.

  • Please contact your hosting provider regarding this.

It is likely that ModSecurity or something similar blocks that.

    Best regards

  • I made a backup and reinstalled the system on VPS, added a subdomain, and connected it to the server's IP address. The BeTheme update went smoothly :) and the 400 error no longer pops up when trying to save.

    Thanks for help
