Cursor pointer not working on links - changes to default cursor after milliseconds

edited November 28 in Other

Hello,

I'm experiencing an issue with the cursor behavior on my website using BeTheme.

Problem: When hovering over links (anchor tags, buttons, clickable elements), the cursor briefly shows as a pointer/hand for a few milliseconds, then immediately changes back to the default arrow cursor.

Expected behavior: The cursor should remain as a pointer while hovering over clickable elements.

What I've tested:

  • The issue is NOT caused by CSS (checked via DevTools - cursor: pointer is correctly applied)
  • The issue persists with all plugins deactivated
  • The issue persists with MU-plugins disabled
  • The issue persists with WP Rocket Delay JS disabled
  • This appears to be JavaScript dynamically overriding the cursor style

It appears to be only on Google Chrome.

Environment:

  • BeTheme (latest version)
  • BeTheme Child Theme
  • WordPress (latest version)
  • WooCommerce installed

Could you please investigate what might be causing JavaScript to override the cursor style on hover?

Thank you.

  • Hi,

I have checked that and on Firefox and Chrome, the pointer cursor remains and does not disappear.

Please check if the same thing happens when you switch to another browser, as it could be due to one of your browser extensions.

    Best regards
