Remove underline hover effect in footer text blocks

Hi everyone,

I’d like to remove the underline hover effect from Column Text and Plain Text blocks in the footer.

As shown in the screenshot, links are underlined on hover. I only want a color change on hover, without any underline. I’ve seen that the hover color can be set from the block style, but the underline remains.

How can I disable the underline while keeping the hover color?

Thanks in advance,

Filippo

  • Hi,

    Please always attach a link to your website so we can check it out. If the page is offline(localhost), then our help will be limited. You will have to contact us when the page is online. Also, please make sure that the page is not under maintenance before you provide us with the link.

    Thanks

  • Try the following CSS code:

    .mfn-footer-tmpl .column_attr a:hover{
     text-decoration: none;
    }

    Put it in Betheme -> Theme options -> Custom CSS & JS -> CSS.

    Best regards

  • Thank you that's perfect, can you tell me also the class for the Plain text block?

    Thank you so much!

  • It will be this one:

    .mfn-footer-tmpl .column_plain_text a:hover{
     text-decoration: none;
    }

    Perfect, thank you!

    Also, last thing also in the heading block, and im done, thank you so much!

  • I was reminded of an option "Underline links in text block" in Betheme -> Theme options -> Accessibility. Please check if it is not enabled, and if so, disable it.

    If it will not help, then this CSS will do the job:

    .mfn-footer-tmpl .mcb-item-heading-inner a:hover{
     text-decoration: none;
    }

    You can actually merge codes I sent you, to this:

    .mfn-footer-tmpl .mcb-item-heading-inner a:hover,
    .mfn-footer-tmpl .column_plain_text a:hover,
    .mfn-footer-tmpl .column_attr a:hover{
     text-decoration: none;
    }

    Best regards

  • Thank you very very much!!!
