Nice Tag and Category Filter Pages

Hello,

just a quick question:

how did you generate this pages:

http://themes.muffingroup.com/betheme/category/mobile

I mean, this is a category. How did you bring the filter

area on top of the page, how did you get a specific sidebar on the category page.

I can't see settings for category pages. I only see that the category pages

are changing when I change the overall blog settings,

Hi,

we do not generate this pages. Wordpress is doing it automatically. We just set blog page properly and that's it.

You have set for your default demo page this settings:

In a few words: you set nothing at all

And your category pages show this result:

Now I'm gaming with these options for hours and the only thing I get is a just dirty tag-page

which is getting me crazy:

would be cool to know what you mean with:

We just set blog page properly and that's it.

-where did you "set blog page properly"?

I mean obviously there is set anything in your default theme options and it's working

like a charm.

Sorry,

I walked through this 3 times. But you have to admit that one can go

crazy when the Blog page still looks boring!

This is the website of my client:

and he wants to have:

- the filter functionality

- and the sharing buttons

as seen here: http://themes.muffingroup.com/betheme/uncategorized/175,standard-post-with-post.html

I can indeed get this results by setting up a default blank wordpress instance and import your demo content "default".

Now I played 3 hours with setting up blog-pages, making these the Blog Page

Assign page for blog, but still I have no sharing, no filter, looks ugly. I mean I have many clients who bought the betheme, butsomething strange like this never happened to me! So am I missing something? and again, I carefully read through your docs and second andbest thing I could do for solving this myself was to import demo contentwith which it's working. But it's not working where it should be. so thank you for going through my problem a second time!Malte

1. As you can see on http://snag.gy/j1YVJ.jpg filtering is visible and works.

2. Make sure that Share Box option is activated under Theme options > Blog, Portfolio & Shop > General section.

ok, it's all getting a bit clearer. Topic 2 is definitely resolved by going to Theme options > Blog, Portfolio & Shop > General.

But I still need this global filter on top like this. (look reeeally nice actuall):

But this filter displays only on Blog pages. Above you sent a link to single post page and you asked about this filtering what is not possible. Filtering is visible on Blog page and this feature display by default because there is no option for this under Muffin Options panel.
