global elements difficult to manage

i setted a global wrap

i try to copy and paste a global wrap from page A to page B but the paste is inactive and has no effect...why?

i think must be a section or a widget with all globals defined so the admin can choose which put in the page.. why it s so complicated ?

the second point is that it would be very useful to have a list of all defined globals where to choose
