HTML renders but Builder styles not applied
Hi BeTheme Support Team,
we’re having an issue with a Footer Template created in BeTheme’s Template Builder.
What happens
- The correct footer template HTML/structure is rendered on the frontend, but the template’s styles are not applied (looks like “unstyled” builder output).
- If we open the site via Appearance → Themes → Customize (Customizer preview), the page looks completely correct (styles are applied as expected).
What we verified
- Footer template type is “Footer” and is assigned to Entire Site.
- The default footer in Theme Options is disabled.
- In Page Options, the footer template is selected.
- No cache/optimizer plugin is active (we removed them).
- The site is consistently HTTPS and WordPress Address / Site Address match.
- We tested with the parent theme (same issue).
- Server-side cache headers (e.g. Varnish) are not present / purging had no effect.
CSS observations
- We see
<style id="mfn-dynamic-inline-css">…</style>in the source. It contains comments like/* Local Header Style 18 */, but we would expect footer/template-local builder styles as well. - In
/wp-content/uploads/betheme/css/we can see generated files likepost-123.css(200 OK when opened directly), but in the normal frontend page source there is no<link>tag referencing anypost-*.cssfile, i.e. those local CSS files are seemingly not enqueued/output. - We do see
be_classes.cssbeing loaded, but not thepost-*.csslocal style file(s).
Server / PHP limits
- We increased
max_input_varsfrom 1500 to 10000 (now shown as 10000 in BeTheme System Status). memory_limitis 256MB.
Question
Could you please advise why the local builder CSS (post-*.css / page/template local styles) is not being enqueued on the regular frontend view, while the Customizer preview renders correctly?
If you have a recommended debug path (specific settings to check, known conflicts, or logs to enable), we’re happy to provide additional details.
Thank you and best regards

Hi,
Please always attach a link to your website so we can check it out. If the page is offline(localhost), then our help will be limited. You will have to contact us when the page is online. Also, please make sure that the page is not under maintenance before you provide us with the link.
It is always a good idea to also attach a screenshot showing your issue.
