Add a coupon Button and Field
Hi,
We are using the BeBook theme for our website.
The "add a coupon" button and field on our website look different and are located in a different place than on the BeBook demo website.
How do we move the button?
And how/where can we change the makeup of the right hand column - the column that contains the "cart totals" and order ("Your Order") details?
What we have looks different from the BeBook demo.
You can find our website at https://anatomybyplanes.com.
Thanks for your help.

The attached image shows the difference between BeBook and our website.
Hi,
The Bookstore demo uses WooCommerce blocks on cart and checkout pages. You have shortcodes there.
So you should edit cart and checkout pages, remove shortocodes, and put blocks instead:

OK. We'll take a look. Thanks.
Looks like we're using "templates" for the cart and checkout pages.
Is it possible to move the coupon button and field using templates? The coupons seem to be build into something called "cart table."
Using the templates, can we add the coupon button and field to the "cart totals?"
Thanks
We're fine with using the blocks instead but are trying to keep using the "order steps" and "cross sells" we can apply under the templates.
The BeBuilder offers four "Woo" elements when we build a cart with templates.
No, it is not possible to achieve that with the template.
In Woo Blocks, there is Cross-sells available as well:
Also, when you use Blocks, steps appear as well:

The cross sells in Woo look poor at best.
How did you get the step to appear? They just do?
Thanks.
1) How would you like to adjust Cross-sells? Maybe I will be able to help.
2) Yes, they just appear. Don't you have them?
Best regards
Hi Phil,
1) We found a solution. We're using a footer template that contains a cross-sell-like feature. The WooCommerce cross-sells do not fit the theme - different colors, details, etc.
Is it possible to edit the cross-sells?
Speaking of, can we edit the "empty cart" message and layout? We think it looks odd.
2) They popped up. We used the BeBuilder on the cart and checkout pages. The steps appeared after we deleted all the BeBuilder content.
3) Can we edit the size, color, etc of the checkout headings separately from the rest of the website—edit only the “checkout headers” without changing other headers? Is that possible? If so, how?
Thanks for your help.
1a) Probably with a custom CSS it would be possible. If you explain what exactly you want to modify I can help you write it.
1b) To edit the empty cart, click on the cart blocks, and switched to Empty Cart:
2) I am happy to see that you found the solution to that.
3) They should be editable in the panel on the right:
Best regards
OK. Thanks. Never worked with "blocks." We'll take a look.
It seems that this is a "new" (they introduced it around November 2023) standard for WooCommerce, and I would predict that sooner or later, shortcodes will become deprecated.
