Cannot edit pages
Hi,
I am having an issue where I cannot edit pages on my website.
I can log in without any issues. But when I choose to use the page editor to edit a page, it won’t open the page. The loading spinner starts spinning and just continues to spin until it eventually times out and leaves a blank white page.
The BeBuilder seems to be working at this point, but regular page editing is not working.

I have been working with my hosting company and they say that it appears to be an issue with the theme. My theme is up-to-date, but they provided a screenshot of the functions.php file showing an error:

I was also receiving a 403 error when trying to use the BeBuilder to edit pages. It gave me the 403 error when I would try to update the page. My hosting company found that WordFence was blocking the update. They fixed that for me, but it may have been related to this issue.
Please let me know if you need any additional info or if there is anything I can do to be able to edit my pages again.

What you sent indicates that the root cause is in your child theme:
Please switch to the parent, and check if the problem persists.

I apologize for the delay. I was traveling for a few days.
I have changed to the parent theme and I am still having issues with editing pages. My theme and all of my plugins are up-to-date. I have tried turning all of the plugins off, but I still had the problem even with no plugins active. So it doesn't appear to be a conflict with plugins.
Some of the pages will open and let me edit them, but when I try to save them, I get this message "Updating failed. The response is not a valid JSON response." These pages are: Hobby Shops, Safety and Field Rules, Contact Us.
Other pages won't even open so that I can edit them. They just spin the loading spinner and then time out and leave a blank white page. These pages are: Home.
Some pages work perfectly...they open, I edit and I save with no issues. These pages are: All of the pages under the media tab, All of the pages under the Members and Instructors tab, About, News Archive, BCF Calendar.
I'd appreciate any help you can provide.

If none of them will help, please contact your hosting provider and ask to allow all the rules that ModSecurity blocks incorrectly.

Hi Phil,
After much back and forth with the hosting company and upgrading to the next level of hosting with more RAM, they have determined that the problem is missing svg files that are part of the theme. The loading is timing out because it is trying to load these missing files.

They suggest re-installing the theme. What is the best way for me to do that without losing data or website set up options?

Do you use BeBuilder Blocks Classic? The SVG files are coming from it, and it will be fixed in the upcoming update. However, if you do not use Bebuilder Blocks Classic, but a regular BeBuilder, you can disable it in the Betheme -> Theme options -> Advanced:

I do use the BeBuilder Blocks classic. My client does most of the updates on his site and he only knows how to make updates using the Blocks Classic. I guess I should re-train him on using BeBuilder... but in the meantime, he needs to make some updates.
