Betheme generating many image sizes and filling disk space
Hello,
I am running a WooCommerce store using Betheme and noticed that the theme generates many image sizes for every uploaded image.
Currently I have about:
- ~11,600 original images
- ~250,000 total image files in the uploads directory
The /wp-content/uploads directory now takes about 42GB of disk space.
Using WP-CLI I see that Betheme registers many additional image sizes, for example:
- portfolio-list
- slider-content
- portfolio-mf
- portfolio-mf-w
- portfolio-mf-t
- blog-single
- blog-portfolio
- mobile-srcset
- be_thumbnail
- be_clients
I am not using portfolio or blog layouts, only WooCommerce pages.
Could you please clarify:
- Which of these image sizes are required for WooCommerce layouts in Betheme?
- Is there a recommended way to disable unused image sizes created by the theme?
- Will disabling them cause any issues with the theme layout?
Thank you.

Hi,
1) From the list you attached, none of these images are required for WooCommerce.
2) At the moment, there is no option for that, but we have it on your to-do list. But you can remove them manually from your server for now.
3) If you do not use any other features except WooCommerce, like portfolio, clients, etc. then no, there will be no issue with the theme layout.
Best regards
