Is it possible to duplicate a Header Template built within BeTheme and then modify? Or, must I start from scratch for each one?

    You can install and use the YOAST Duplicate Post plugin. You can find it in Betheme -> Plugins:

    When you install it, ensure that Templates are enabled in the settings:

    Then you will be able to clone templates:
