Is there a way to add Ajax filters (Filters element) to product page?

  1. Hey. I want to add "Filters" element to my shop page. There is a way for me to add a Sidebar there, but Sidebar template editor doesn't have Filters element in it, and Widgets page offers a very limited amount of filters and basically no customization. How can i add the Filters element to my shop as a sidebar? Thanks.
  2. I also have a question about shop archive template. I have downloaded clothing store prebuilt site to my website. My "Shop archive" template in templates looks different (worse, actually) than my actual shop archive page. So i had to disable it. The most amount of customization i can do i Page Options in BeBuilder. I really like the design on that page, is there a way to keep it into my Shop Archive template?

  • Hi,

    1) There should be Filters element in the sidebar teamplate available. But there is a bug in the lastest version that hides it. It will be fixed in the upcoming update.

    2) Please always attach a link to your website so we can check it out. If the page is offline(localhost), then our help will be limited. You will have to contact us when the page is online. Also, please make sure that the page is not under maintenance before you provide us with the link.

It is always a good idea to also attach a screenshot showing your issue.

    Thanks

  • Can i ask a different question? i figured out how to add filters, now i want to translate "List sorting" filter in shop products element. It uses Woocomerce filters, which are already translated to my language, and two Betheme filters, which are not translated. I didn't find these options in Betheme/Translate, and by choosing to translate via Loco Translate (by editing the language file, and disabling Betheme translation), this element doesn't change its language even after i translate it. And yes, my Loco Translate configuration works correctly, since every other element i translated manually is displayed correctly.

  • We need to regenerate the file for translations. It will be done in the next update, and you should be able to translate these with Loco.

  • Thanks a lot! One last question i have is about Woocommerce Product Atributes. I have an issue with them after importing a prebuilt BeTheme website over my existing WooCommerce setup.

It looks like the import process has corrupted the attributes:

    - some new attribute values were added to existing attributes,

    - attribute IDs seem to have changed or become inconsistent.

    Currently:

    - attributes and their values still work on the frontend,

    - but in the WordPress admin I cannot edit them — it shows an error about a non-existing ID,

    - I also cannot delete them — clicking "Delete" does nothing.

So basically, the attributes exist in the database and are used on the site, but are not manageable through the admin UI.

    My goal:

I would like to completely remove all existing attributes and recreate them from scratch, for IDs to work this time

    Questions:

    1. Is there a recommended way to safely reset WooCommerce attributes?

    2. Can this be fixed via FTP/database cleanup (e.g. specific tables), and if so, which tables should be cleared?

    Thanks in advance!

  • 1) Attributes imported from a pre-built website is a complicated mechanism for which we have not found a solution yet. Only option to reset them would be removing attributes and readding them.

    2) I am not familiar with any method that could allow that.

    Best regards
