Changes not saving despite “Saved” message
I’m currently facing a persistent issue with Betheme / WordPress:
Whenever I save changes (e.g. products, product categories, menus), I get the success message “Saved…”, but the changes are not actually applied. After reloading or revisiting the page, everything is back to the previous state.
Scope of the issue:
- WooCommerce products
- Product categories
- Navigation menus
- General content edits
What I already tried:
- Cleared browser and site cache
- Tested different browsers
- Logged out and back in
No visible errors, just silent failure to persist data.
Has anyone experienced something similar or identified the root cause?
Would appreciate any pointers before I start deeper debugging.
Thanks in advance.

Hello,
Please, turn off all of the plugins, refresh your cache, and check if the problem persists.
Moreover, if you use a child theme, switch to the parent, and recheck it.
Thanks
Hi Phil,
Thanks for your reply.
I was able to identify the root cause on my end — the issue seems to be related to LiteSpeed Cache (v7.8.0.1).
From what I’ve researched, this doesn’t seem to be an isolated case:
Given this, I wanted to check with you:
Is this a known compatibility issue between Betheme and LiteSpeed Cache?
Or have you seen similar cases where LiteSpeed interferes with saving changes in the backend?
Would appreciate your input before I proceed with deeper configuration changes or exclusions.
Best,
Munzir
It is a common behavior for caching tools to hold changes. So I would not say that it is a compatibility issue, but how some caching tools work.
That is why we suggest keeping all cache disabled until you finish working on your website, or purge it each time you make any changes.
Also, for the plugin configuration, it would be best if you contact the plugin author, as they know their tool best.
Best regards
