Audio of Video (mp4) starts automatically
Hi There,
Working on this website:

I am having problems with the video – it has been there for a while, but suddenly it starts to run the audio (and only the audio, not the video), allthough the video is set to "controls muted".
I´ve also tried different settings, updated the theme and all plugins, cleared all caches.
But nothing seems to work.
Could you please have a look at it?

Acutually I now notice that the video from the home page is also playing on all other pages, like here https://augenopundlaserzentrum.de/gruener-star-op-mit-mini-implantat/. Allthough it´s not even on the page itself.

1) I checked that video, and it plays both audio and video:
Did you handle this in the meantime?
If not, did you check that on other browsers?
2) The only video that plays for me on that page is the following one:
And it autoplays and its muted.
Can you explain what you refer to in more detail, please?

Hi Phil,
We found the error this morning – sorry for not getting back to you sooner.
It was a video placed in a PopUp switched to "use for the whole site". So it was loading in the background.
Yet many thanks for putting so much effort into it – appreciate it.
