can you explain what you mean exactly? You want to import one of the pre-made layouts and keep current posts, pages and content? Is that what you want to do?
Existing pages and posts won't be removed but only pages that comes with demo will be added and of course settings under Muffin Options panel will be overwritten.
Of course you can export current database just in case but you never knows what may happen if something wrong will happen on server side as it's only machine.
the betheme does not wrap around existing posts and pages it is practically impossible to install without having to recreate every single post and page! Useless!!!
We have checked the link you sent above but it's not our theme. After theme installation and activation, pages will be available in the back-end of course but then won't look the same in front-end obviously because each theme is different and content may be stored in different manner.
Yes this is exactly my issue. The themes are only any use if you're building a new website. Every existing post and page has to be recreated. what a complete joke. As for getting the footer to accept widgets thats another issue but all in all the themes look awesome as they are but involve huge amounts of time and more time to edit and add content.
If pages or posts were created in accordance to WP API in the past, then shouldn't be re-created. It means if the conent was in WP editor section then should look good now. But if you used special tools to create pages and posts, then of course content must be re-created. But it concerns any product so it's not only our BeTheme. This is how wp themes works. There is no joke here.
the template layout for the theme is not wrapping around the posts. I would have to export and import manually to every existing post to maintain the betheme insurance prebuilt theme.
The prebuilt themes assume the theme will be used for a new website. There is no easy solution to sites with existing content as posts.
The prebuilt theme is merely using the muffin builder and this is not a template! There are no templates.
Sorry but we do not understand why our pre-made layouts are not templates? Can you explain what you are talking about? As we wrote, after pre-made layout import, posts and pages stay the same as were before the updated and you can use them within theme. But if previous posts and pages were made with other theme which wasn't created in accordance to WP API then you may really have a problem with them.
